UNIFIED Music Group's Recorded Music department is seeking a Marketing Coordinator in our Los Angeles, CA office. This role will assist the label team in Marketing and Label services across the board, facilitating the growth and expansion of it's fast-growing Independent Label, UNFD.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Bring product ideas to fruition from conceptualization to market placement in coordination with label manager, production and art departments
Liaise with publicity and radio teams - convey key release information and assets in a timely manner
Manage the creation of marketing assets and social media content to promote releases, coordinating with the art department
Assist in gathering and verifying audio masters, artwork, metadata and label copy, ensuring accuracy and all deadlines are met
Actively participate in team meetings, discussions, and planning activities
Provide overall administrative support (budget tracking, travel booking, calendar management) to North American Label Manager
Submit invoices with proper coding and track expenses in release budget trackers
Work with the A&R team and help to compile bi-weekly reports
Other duties as assigned
This role will also include the opportunity to:
Foster close, positive relationships with our artists and their management/agents
Scout and research new artist, songwriter, and producer talent
Review demo submissions and attend shows
Cover studio sessions for the A&R's artist roster
Work closely with all departments including marketing, publicity, sales, product management, manufacturing, and finance

Ability to ''think outside the box'' and be able to implement new and effective ways to market and promote assigned releases
Meticulous attention to detail and extremely well-organized work habits
A vast knowledge and understanding of rock/hard rock/alternative music and a hunger for new music discovery
Strong self-motivation and the ability to thrive with a bit of autonomy
Previous music industry experience (internships qualify)
Strong Computer Skills - Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Dropbox and the Internet
