I. POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the coordination of social media marketing to increase awareness, affinity, and advocacy for Man Enough across social networks. Work closely with Content Producer and VP of Marketing to execute social media across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, and other platforms. Work with other members of the Man Enough and Wayfarer Studios team and external partners on related projects.
II. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
SOCIAL MARKETING (75%):
Social media asset management and development
o Responsible for the management of key social media profile assets including updating profile key art, description copy, and Twitter lists
o Schedule social posts using approved publishing tools and directly on platforms
o Work with key teams to support the creation of weekly key in-season podcast assets
o Support EPK development and distribution of images, weekly promos, video clips, and other content to hosts, talent, and partners
o Manage the development of ongoing creative tactics for ad hoc posts including trending topics, holidays, talent activations, awards nominations, et al
o Lead fulfillment of social contests and giveaways
o Be available on weekends to support fan engagement and posts in the lead into new podcast episode launches
o Monitor talent and guest profiles for content to RT and fan comments to like and reply
Campaign Support
o Responsible for maintaining a list of fans and influencers that have frequently engaged with Man Enough profiles, won prizes, and attended events
REPORTING (15%)
Assist with Reporting
o Compile weekly key metrics in reporting dashboard from approved platforms
o Assist Content Producer/Social Manager in the preparation of post-campaign and end of season reports
MANAGE WAYFARER STUDIOS THEATRICAL, TV, AND DOCUMENTARIES ANNOUNCEMENTS AND CAMPAIGNS ON SOCIAL MEDIA (10%)
o Prep copy for press release-related social posts going out on Wayfarer Studios brand handles
o Coordinate with VP of Marketing on relevant articles published by writers and news to share with Wayfarer Studios communities
o Support development team on the crafting and launch of ad hoc needs on social (casting, influencer identification, etc.)
III. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: (Minimum required skills for job performance.)
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task multiple, changing priorities
• Storyteller with creative writing abilities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate as a fan engagement lead able to understand interesting and compelling content to Like, Share and Respond
• Ability to interface easily with all levels of management
• Ability to work independently
• Interest in and understanding of social media
• Proficient in Google Docs and Sheets/Excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Flexibility
• 1-2 year experience preferred
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• BA in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, English, Journalism or Film/Media Studies preferred
