Full Time Job
Wayfarer Studios is seeking an executive assistant to join our creative department. This person would support two SVP's, in both the Scripted and Unscripted departments, and should have at least 1-2 years of experience at an agency/studio/production company. This person should be a self-starter, highly detail-oriented, and have an interest in one or both areas of unscripted or scripted development. Responsibilities include scheduling, rolling calls, drafting and sending submissions, managing expenses, booking travel, research, and coverage, etc. Looking to hire immediately.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manage calendar for executive(s), including scheduling and confirming meetings
• Read scripts, review dailies, summarize notes from development meetings/calls
• Supporting departmental projects as needed
• Maintaining organizational documents, updating writer & director lists, as well as keeping logs of incoming script submissions
• Invoice tracking & processing
• Manage phones, roll calls, and update phone sheet
• Booking travel
• Process and organize expense reports
• Internet research
Basic Qualifications:
• Strong computer skills (Google docs, Dropbox, Word, etc)
• Highly detailed oriented and can work independently and proactively to solve problems
• Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions and change course of action quickly
• Detail oriented with the ability to work well and maintain professionalism under pressure
• Discretion and integrity
• Works well with others
• Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible
• knowledge of television and film industry, or at very least, an eagerness to learn
• Experience at a Studio, Production Company, Literary or Talent Agency
The ideal candidate is a Self Starter who is pro-active and likes to be two steps ahead. Has a positive attitude, is creative, has Interest in both domestic and international television, and wants to be a part of creating change, both inside the industry and out.
