Job Description:
Wayfarer is hiring a VP of Content Distribution Sales. This person will be a key member of the team focused specifically on driving content revenue streams. This individual sits at the intersection of ad sales, production, and product, and will be focused on driving sales to TV/digital distribution partners to achieve content revenue goals.
The ideal candidate will create and implement new scalable opportunities across networks/social platforms for Wayfarer's content. He/she will also be responsible for supporting the Head of Sales.
The candidate will have strong project and account management experience in the marketing world, specifically social platforms, and will show a solid understanding of how to best drive engagement and interaction to drive revenue. He/she should also have experience in post-sale campaign management and have experience managing internal and external relationships. We are seeking an energetic hard-working candidate who loves working in a collaborative environment with different teams toward a common goal.
Responsibilities:
- Work with internal and external teams to execute new linear/digital sales opportunities across all Wayfarer content
- Be the lead contact for key relationships with external linear/digital distribution partners
- Coordinate with the Wayfarer development, sales, and production teams on distribution and promotional strategies for all content
- Oversee execution of off platform content campaigns, including managing media buys and recap reporting
- Be responsible for selling across Wayfarer's diverse portfolio
- Research and ideate potential partners for each client
- Utilize strong prospecting skills to source & negotiate new partnerships
- Communicate the unique value proposition of our clients to brands and agencies through meetings, presentations, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with creative teams on campaign ideas, development of pitch decks and partnership activations
- Report and track all sales activity and deal pipeline to ensure sales goals are consistently met and/or exceeded
- Work closely with execution teams to ensure programs are well transitioned and relationship is properly managed
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree from accredited college
- 5 years of experience, preferably at agency, interacting with multiple teams
- Proven track record at project management, developing and executing on off platform ideas to grow revenue and deliver results
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of content sales, distribution partnerships, client management and negotiations
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external personnel
- Strong analytical and business skills
