How do I hire an Intern - Research & Data Analysis? Summary:
Wavelets Entertainment, Inc. is a production company funded by China's Alibaba and Media Asia. Wavelets is responsible for developing feature films and television series for China's fast-growing streaming market. Wavelets is offering internships for individuals with research and data analysis background to join the team starting February, 2021 and ending July, 2021, or any time in between. This internship will take place virtually as a result of Covid-19 restrictions.
Responsibilities:
- Competitive Industry Research
- Marketing Research
- SWOT analysis
- Gather data, process, analyze and produce deliverables, reports and presentations
- Assisting with general company operations
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Advanced in PowerPoint, Excel, Keynote, Pages and Google Suite
- Proficient in both Mandarin Chinese and English
- Able to commit at least 20 hours a week
- Able to receive school credits for your internship
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- A strong interest in working in the entertainment industry
- Previous experience at a talent agency, production company, studio or network
- Fast reader
- Knowledge of the entertainment industry
