JOB DESCRIPTION
The Junior Copywriter / Community Manager is responsible for supporting the creative development and creative maintenance of Watson's entertainment campaigns. This includes:
Copywriting / Content Development:
Develop content ideas and concepts for social and digital proposals.
Copywriting across various elements of campaign including post and editorial copywriting, on-asset copywriting, realtime and consistent community management.
Assist the Creative Director and production team on developing internal storytelling (strategy, positioning) and narrative storytelling (campaign themes, rollout, creative concepts).
Gaining a clear understanding of RFP, ensuring there is alignment between the proposed campaign and client needs.Assisting Creative Director in upfront research for assigned titles, including comparative, historic studio campaigns, global tactics that extend beyond the traditional social / digital space (our approach to talent, international, PR, etc).
Scripting custom or talent shoot concepts as needed.
Writing and organizing notes in brainstorms and client meetings.
Organizing written materials for the creative team to build upon concepts (storyboarding concepts, quote pulls, script coverage summaries, etc.)
Additional writing support where needed.
Social / CM:
Crafting copy for social calendars and community management and copyediting decks, editorial calendars, assets, etc.
Publishing content across social media on assigned titles as needed.
Maintaining a proactive strategic lens across active titles, making consistent, actionable recommendations to internal teams.
Monitoring channels and social landscape for creative opportunities.
Developing topline analytics reports that dictate the direction and strategy of creative - a strategic analysis of what's working, what's not working, where we should pivot.
Proactively ideating around new social and creative concepts for active titles.
Flagging spam and trolls.
Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of platform and creative trends in the social and digital space, finding ways to effectively communicate to the team.
Assisting in developing tone of voice for active channels and maintaining the same level of energy and quality from pitch through execution.
