Wizards Dancer

This is a Part Time Job

The Wizards Dancers are the official dance team of the NBA Washington Wizards. This co-ed entertainment team performs at all Wizards' home games and serves as ambassadors for the organization, representing the team in the DMV community and abroad.

Are you a versatile and professional dancer trained in multiple genres of dance? We'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
• Participate in weekly rehearsals (2-3) and any assigned games and appearances.
• Maintain availability for 35 of 41 regular season home games and all postseason playoff games if applicable.
• Master and perform multiple detailed choreographed dance routines, sidelines, fillers, acrobatic tricks, technical skill, and have the ability to freestyle.
• Run and maneuver around the arena to engage fans.
• Understand and thrive in a team dynamic and communicate effectively with management and teammates.
• Serve as an ambassador of the Washington Wizards organization, conduct themselves in a manner which upholds the character, tradition, integrity, and spirit of the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Professional dance training in hip-hop, jazz funk, pom, novelty, breakdance, acrobatics, and others.
• 2-4 years professional or semi-professional dance team, dance crew, or other structured performance experience.
• Must hold a minimum of part-time employment or be a student.
• Must be at least 18 years old as of registration date.
• Dancers must be committed for the entire 2025-26 basketball season and up to the 2026 audition date.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $20.00 USD
