Manager, Group Sales (Account Executive)

Position Overview: The Manager, Group Sales is responsible for generating maximum revenue through the sale of group tickets, full season plans, and partial season plans for the Washington Wizards.
Responsibilities:
• Sell Washington Wizards group ticket plans to businesses and individual consumers via results-oriented telemarketing, face-to-face presentations and through social channels.
• Use enthusiastic tactics to build new sales opportunities.
• Develop prospects by calling on self-generated leads and provided lists.
• Handle in-bound sales calls from prospective customers.
• Build positive professional relationships to grow network and create repeat business.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
• Create and maintain up-to-date records on existing customers and prospects in team database.
• Work home games to meet new prospects, service customers, and support game night duties.
• Attend B2B networking events.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 1 year of sales experience, including professional phone sales technique and skills.
• Outstanding work ethic, results-oriented, competitive and dedicated to success.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to efficiently prioritize workload and reach daily and weekly goals for calls, appointments and sales.
• Able to work effectively and produce results both independently and on a team.
• Passionate about building a sales career in the sports industry.
• Flexibility to work extended flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
