Finance Team Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant, Team Finance is responsible for assisting with various accounting and finance needs related to the MSE Basketball teams including the Wizards, Mystics, and Go-Go.

Responsibilities:
• Produce weekly cash reports, journal entries and support monthly financial statement preparation.
• Prepare game reports and assist with preparation of various league reporting.
• Reconcile Archtics ticketing system and accounting system for each team.
• Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Support special projects and reports for department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to balance and prioritize workload.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software applications, specifically Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Archtics is preferred.
• Strong professional ethics and sensitivity in dealing with confidential information.

Pay Range: $55k - $65k USD
