Position Overview:
The Director, Equipment & Logistics will oversee all operational, financial, and personnel activities of the Equipment & Logistics Department for the Washington Wizards.

Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and oversee the Washington Wizards Equipment & Logistics Department.
• Oversee the budget creation process and operate within budgetary constraints.
• Order, inventory, and distribute apparel and team supplies.
• Provide laundry services to players and coaches.
• Maintain locker room supplies and needs.
• Hire and develop game night Team Attendants to support both home and visiting teams.
• Coordinate the logistics & transportation of all team equipment during team travel.
• Own the acquisition and maintenance of a fleet of four Monumental Basketball-owned vehicles.
• Travel with the Washington Wizards and provide frequent after-hours assistance.
• Handle the set up of equipment for practices and games.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5 plus years of experience in an NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, or NCAA Equipment department.
• Knowledge of the types and uses of athletic equipment and apparel in a professional sports setting.
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, meet deadlines, and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and creative problem-solving capabilities.
• Positive attitude and enjoys collaborating with a team as part of something bigger than yourself.
• Flexibility to work late evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel regularly.
• Ability to physically lift 75 pounds or more.
