Coordinator, Strategy

The Strategy Coordinator will be a member of the Strategy group in Monumental Basketball's Strategy, Research, and Development department. This position will be responsible for assisting members of the Strategy team and other front office staff in areas such as planning and salary cap management that impact the decision-making process for Monumental Basketball.

Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day operational, logistical, and administrative needs of the Strategy group.
• Collaborate with Strategy group on planning, salary cap management, and preparation of major NBA transactional periods (Trade Deadline, Draft, Free Agency, Extension windows, etc.).
• Study and analyze league precedents to optimize basketball decision making at all levels.
• Manage and refine day-to-day processes to improve efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of 2023 NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Basic knowledge of basketball analytics.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• High integrity; dependable and comfortable with confidential information.
• Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Programming / technical experience is a plus (SQL, R, Python, Shiny).

Pay Range: $75-125k USD.
