2023 Videographer & Editor (Part-Time)
Summary:
The Videographer/Editor is responsible for producing high quality, game day video content for the Washington Nationals and Curly W Productions (CWP). The Videographer/Editor will shoot, edit and deliver content used for social media, TV commercials, game presentation, long-form features, and more.
This is a part-time seasonal position that typically works from February through October.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Capture pre-game, in-game and post-game video for real-time delivery to social media team
• Edit and deliver pre-game, in-game and post-game video for all departments
• Archive and tag pre-game, in-game and post-game video
• Assist Manager, Video Production with various video projects on non-game days
• Assist CWP with preparing content for Opening Day
• Collaborate with CWP to create and execute new content ideas
• Produce content in a variety of styles and techniques, ensuring the Nationals branding is implemented throughout
• Maintain and organize cameras, microphones, and other equipment
Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
• Strong experience with interchangeable lens cameras
• Strong experience shooting video in a cinematic style
• Experience with advanced camera support systems including sliders and gimbals
• Experience with professional lighting, grip and audio equipment
• Strong experience with non-linear editing systems (Premiere)
• Strong experience with motion graphics programs (After Effects)
• Strong experience with graphics programs (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• NOTE: Demo reel is required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to organize and adhere to internal workflows so projects are easily shared
• Ability to produce and create new and exciting video content
• Ability to receive constructive criticism on their creative work
• Ability to work independently
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
• Must possess strong decision-making skills and be very detail oriented
• Must be knowledgeable of the Nationals schedule, players, baseball statistics, rules and records
• Must possess great interpersonal communication skills (oral and written)
• Must be able to work the extended hours of game days and specials events as scheduled
• Must be comfortable interacting with high profile clients and players
• Professional baseball and/or other professional sports production experience preferred

Physical/Environmental Requirements
• Work will require weekend and evening work
• Job requires employee to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue. May work at heights. The employee will be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb up and down stairs. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
