Summary:
This position, reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Strategy, is responsible for managing year-round integrated marketing campaigns, as well as all advertising, tracking, and ad placements. Additionally, the Manager, Advertising will manage all inventory and promotional material to run on Washington Nationals programming including digital, broadcast, radio, print, and OOH. She/he will collaborate with multiple departments within the organization to ensure successful marketing campaigns. This position will require strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, and teamwork skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create and implement the go-to-market plan for all integrated marketing efforts
• Manage omni-channel marketing strategies to deliver on brand and revenue objectives
• Manage production of advertising messages (digital, broadcast, radio, print, OOH, grassroots) with Creative Services and Production teams, and be the primary contributor to marketing briefs and digital ad copy writing
• Manage development, scheduling, and delivery of all live drop-in marketing assets and commercials for each television and radio game broadcast
• Traffic promotional drops, items, logos, and messaging to television, radio, print, and digital partners, as well as internal Production team and serve as the final proofreader for all outward facing collateral and messaging
• Collaborate with MLB and any third-party partner(s) to successfully execute digital advertising both for the organization and in conjunction with MLB as a whole
• Create marketing campaigns using the Customer Data Platform and ensure successful “final mile” execution through various channels
• Maintain project calendars to track status of all internal development needs
• Conduct relevant analyses to determine key metrics to ensure marketing effectiveness
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
• Undergraduate degree, with major in engineering, business, economics, or marketing preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in management consulting, marketing, or advertising preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to tailor key messages to the appropriate audience
• Exceptional organization skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to analyze and summarize data
• Ability to handle multiple projects and relationships concurrently
• Ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment without direct supervision
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Utmost standards of integrity in all business dealings
• Position will require some weekend and/or evening work

• Office: Working conditions are normal for an office environment
