Position Summary
The Washington Nationals are seeking highly skilled and motivated athletic trainers to support medical care at our minor league affiliates. The Seasonal Certified Athletic Trainer will work closely with the existing Staff Athletic Trainer at the affiliate to provide superlative care for players. The role will provide coverage for games and practices, in addition to delivering treatment, aiding with rehabilitation, and maintaining medical records.

Primary Responsibilities
• Provide care and management of injuries and illnesses including prevention, evaluation, maintenance and rehabilitation protocols.
• Maintain proper medical records in accordance with best practices and industry standards.
• Maintain a clean & organized athletic training room and workspace with up-to-date sterilization standards and best practices.
• Daily communication with players' injury status with the Staff Athletic Trainer.
• Support administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the Staff Athletic Trainer.
Qualifications
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work across departments.
• Desire to learn, grow, and develop personally and professionally in alignment with organizational values and philosophies.
• National Athletic Trainer's Association-Board of Certification in good standing
• State Licensure in good standing
• CPR/AED certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Applicants should expect to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
