This is a Part Time Paid Internship
The Washington Mystics Marketing Intern will support day-to-day operations and special projects within the Marketing Department, You will play a vital role in the team's business success throughout the season.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement marketing initiatives including gameday fan experience, marketing promotions, fan and community events.
• Provide gameday and fan event support as needed.
• Collaborate with the Brand Ambassador Promotions team to provide outstanding customer service and create monumental memories for fans.
• Measure campaign and project performance with specific objectives and metrics that support business goals.
• Conceptualize and propose new concepts for various aspects of fan development, experiential marketing, and promotions.
• Support brand consistency across all visual assets and marketing materials
• Share creative and innovative ideas for fan experience and brand campaigns.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Current undergraduate or graduate student.
• Demonstrated understanding of marketing principles and brand marketing
• Passion for creating unforgettable fan experiences and engaging with diverse audiences.
• Ability to work and interact well with staff, corporate clients, and fans.
• Basic knowledge of event logistics, promotional activations, and gameday operations.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Previous background in sports, events, customer service, or fan engagement is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook) and how they connect with fan engagement.
• General knowledge of professional sports and passion for women's basketball culture.
• Reliable transportation and housing.
• Ability to lift between 25-50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
