Talent Leader - Dtc, APAC
• Work closely with the business to develop a people plan that aligns to and supports the overall organizational strategy
• Anticipate organizational and talent needs while managing a rapidly changing market and competitive landscape, supporting strategic priorities and shaping the culture and direction of the organization
• Tackle the most pressing talent opportunities and challenges
• Understand the functional and business realities, provide insights and linkages
• Align workforce needs to the business strategies of the organization
• Provide expert business advice and partnership on the full range of talent strategy
• Serve as a resource and confidante for Business Unit senior leaders
• Demonstrate the ability to interact with and influence key decision makers and business decisions based on internal and external factors
• Lead the people efforts in support of the expansion of HBO Max in Asia including:
• Preparing the staffing plan and headcount budget;
• Putting in place recruiting and compensation strategies to attract and retain talent;
• Designing optimal organizational structures
• Developing seamle onboarding experiences for new employees
• Identifying and putting in place HR resources to support the growth of the business;
• Partnering with business to design and implement programs to foster an inclusive culture; and
• Understanding marketing conditions to inform and update people and culture plans
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• HR or related experience in large complex organization or unique skills needed by the company
• Broad understanding of the businesses across WarnerMedia and demonstrates a wide range of HR, critical thinking and business advisory skills
• Trusted partner and collaborator who can build strong relationships
• Ability to communicate clearly, influence stakeholders, display strong leadership and vision
• Ability to adapt quickly to a competitive and changing business landscape
• Seasoned HR executive that can pull from a variety of backgrounds including HRBP, OD, talent strategy, HR COEs and the business
