The Job
The CW Network, LLC seeks a Publicity Intern - Summer 2021 for the Publicity – General department.
The Daily
• Assists publicity teams in arranging & coordinating virtual publicity press junkets, screenings and other virtual events, including data collection & overall logistics
• Participates in creative team brainstorming sessions.
• Assists with research and preparation of reports
• Assists with updating documents, proofreading and editing of written and A/V materials.
• Performs administrative duties as assigned
• Assists in media monitoring as needed
• Performs various related duties as necessary.
The Essentials
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for full duration of the internship.
• Fully remote/virtual experience; company owned laptop provided for the duration of the internship program.
• Salary based on office location; relocation is not provided.
• This position is targeted toward upperclassmen and graduate students.
• Required skills and qualifications.
• Proficient in MS Office, entertainment blogs specific to TV and WB destination genres, and social media platforms beyond Twitter and Facebook.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to balance, multi-task and prioritize requests and still meet deadlines.
• Keen interest in publicity and knowledge of entertainment industry.
