Social Media Producer (Temporary)
Location: United States - Georgia - Atlanta
The Job
The Social Media Producer is a temporary position within WarnerMedia Studios in support of the Cartoon Network Social Media team. This position is designed for knowledgeable and experienced social-oriented people committed to creating fun and engaging content for millions of fans. The Producer will work closely with the team to produce creative for selected brands and IPs and bring the creative and strategic vision to life. The content will be published as social media posts for all Cartoon Network social accounts including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest.
The Daily
As the Producer, you will:
• Work with freelancer artists and creatives - communication, follow up, producing projects from start to finish
• Ensure assets are produced on time
• Ensure all asset versions are developed by the creative and prepared for delivery
• Ensure creative follows brand guidelines and specs
• Pull references and files
• Create decks and other presentation materials including creative briefs and schedules
• Work with other departments to coordinate assets
• Check in with creatives (within the team and remote) every day for project status
• Handle paperwork/contracts/processing payments for vendors/freelancers
• Other tasks as assigned
• Report to the Art Director
The Essentials
• 3-5 years of producer experience in the media industry
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent organization skills
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn new tech and organizational systems
• Ability to clearly present and execute projects from start to finish
• Ability to take direction, follow up, and follow through with projects
• Excellent time management skills in order to meet tight deadlines
• Can handle a very fast paced environment with last minute changes
• Experience working with creatives and creative teams
• Technical knowledge of social media platforms, specs
• Technical knowledge of delivery file formats for social (mov, mp4, adobe suite files ai. psd)
• Flexibility to work late and some weekends as needed
