Location: Argentina - Buenos Aires
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
Non-Linear Editing Workflows and solutions design
Determine best practices and tools and lead the implementation supporting the engineering areas.
Test new tools and new releases for the existing ones.
Follow up closely on issues, troubleshooting and communicate with the support teams in a more accurate way than the end users.
Design new workflows as needed and oversee related implementations.
Build workflow documentation and lead internal trainings.
Color Correction Workflows and solutions design
Determine best practices and tools and lead the implementation supporting the engineering areas.
Test new tools and new releases for the existing ones.
Follow up closely on issues, troubleshooting and communicate with the support teams in a more accurate way than the end users.
Design new workflows as needed and oversee related implementations.
Build workflow documentation and lead internal trainings.
Media Supply Chain packaging and formatting workflows management
Deliver solutions for unifying in-house and outsourced services for media workflows.
Learn about new solutions and technologies, compare to the running ones, and suggest systems roadmap based on the company's needs.
Continuous Process Improvement
Oversee the whole post-production operations, work with stakeholders and end users in order to implement the accurate solutions for each need as designed.
Act as the main point of contact for internal and external post-production platforms players.
Job Requirements
Essential
1. Years of experience: 5 on media / broadcast industry.
2. Degree or equivalent experience in Audiovisual, Electronics or IT engineering, with focus on TV applications.
3. Experience in Engineering support areas maintaining non-linear editing and color correction tools.
4. Broad knowledge and experience in Audio and Video formats, codecs and wrappers (including UHD and cinematographic formats).
5. Broad knowledge and experience in Color correction, including HDR workflows, Gamma curves and LUTs.
6. Ability to focus on results and deadlines.
7. Broad knowledge and experience in NLE and Color tools (Adobe CC, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
8. Fluent in English (oral and written).
Desirable
1. Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in a diverse cultural environment.
2. Experience in big organizational business changes and solutions implementation.
