The Job
This position will be responsible for working with the Director of Brand Activation managing relationships across the enterprise in order to have proactive awareness of business unit brand priorities and activations and available content/assets to support them. In addition, this person is responsible for daily monitoring of corporate and business unit internal websites, social media platforms and press rooms all in order maintain the Warner Media Global Calendar and report out to the Brand Activation team in regularly scheduled meetings.
The person in this position is also responsible for leveraging their brand and business unit knowledge and relationships to contribute to the strategic coordination of planning and programming WarnerMedia brand activations and strategic visual and messaging campaigns. Additionally, this team member will manage the creative development and approval of all creative assets associated to these activations and campaigns.
Day to day management of the WarnerMedia Global Calendar, Activation Status Calendar and Executive Monthly Overview is a task for the person in this position. These documents enable the Global Communications, Marketing and D&EI team to strategically analyze and leverage opportunities around, but not limited to, assets, content, activations, press announcements and coverage, executive and talent speaking engagements, sponsorships, and more.
Additionally, this position will partner with the WarnerMedia photography, legal team and AT&T to help manage the WarnerMedia asset distribution process and partner with digital platforms, brand contacts, Fusion and media planning to assist with asset planning, activations and coordination for brand marketing in company locations.
Brand activation support in the form of data management, guest communications and pre-event and post-event recap decks will also be the responsibility of this position.
Tactics
WarnerMedia Global Calendar, Activation Calendar and Communications Hub Management
Strategy
• The calendar and hub will enable the brand marketing and communications team, as well as senior management, to strategically analyze and leverage opportunities around, but not limited to, assets, content, activations, press releases, executive speaker and talent engagements, sponsorships, and more, as well as house relevant content for appropriate assets.
Execution
• Initiate and manage relationships across the enterprise to ensure calendar data and communications hub assets are entered and accurate and that information is shared in the appropriate format weekly with the executive leadership team.
Proactive business unit communication plus daily monitoring of corporate and business unit internal websites, trades, owned social media platforms and press rooms.
Month Ahead
Strategy
• Provide WM SVP of Comms and Marketing visibility into key activations across the enterprise with context/expansion in order to generate awareness, provide context and activate strategic conversations.
• Types of activations include company statements, press announcements and coverage, senior executive presence, town halls, all employee communications, initiatives and their key moments.
Execution
• On a weekly basis, provide SVP of Communications and Marketing a high-level summary of high impact activations for the upcoming month.
WarnerMedia Asset Management
Strategy
• AT&T WarnerMedia Portfolio
• • Create efficient workflows and priority assets to AT&T in order to promote priorities in non-sales related campaigns.
• WarnerMedia Offices
• Appropriately promote WarnerMedia priority IP through activations and/or assets in WarnerMedia office properties around the world.
Execution
• AT&T WarnerMedia Portfolio
• • Partner with the WarnerMedia photography and legal team, as well as AT&T, to understand AT&T's needs, WarnerMedia's legal regulations and WM brand priorities.
• WarnerMedia Offices
• • Partner with the digital platforms teams to create a promotional strategy along with brand representatives to identify activations and available digital media, and the WarnerMedia Brand Experience photography team for still photography to bring the priorities to life.
Brand Activation Support
Strategy
• Support the brand activation team in order to successfully coordinate, communicate and activate the WarnerMedia brand through data management and pre/post-event documentation.
Execution
• Manage detailed data such as guest lists and RSVP status, translate detailed data into executive summaries and provide assets, direction and management required for designers to produce pre/post-event overviews/recaps.
