ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Business Intelligence and Research Operations Analyst is directly responsible for analytics, processes, and systems to support WarnerMedia's best-in-class executive search and research team. This includes the team's global CRM, business intelligence tools and ongoing assessment of processes and workflows.
Whether it's reporting executive level talent movement, providing quarterly placement metrics or improving our processes and systems, your work will be crucial in ensuring that we are proactive and responsive to executive talent trends within and beyond the media industry.
This role is directly responsible for our global CRM as well as all executive talent reports and metrics for Executive Search and Research
• Serve as the CRM steward and subject matter expert (e.g. Encore, Invenias, Avature, FileFinder, Taleo, Salesforce, Greenhouse, Bullhorn, BrassRing, etc.), overseeing day-to-day operations and ongoing projects related to system processes and improvements for the global team (US, London, Singapore)
• Own regular reporting activities, i.e., quarterly, annual, as well as ad hoc requests as needed
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other key metrics providing Search data, activity, and analysis (e.g., cost savings, internal mobility, diversity), including the creation of charts or other visualizations using Tableau or other business intelligence platform
• Review all system data for accuracy and completeness; perform quality assurance inspections of user data, reports and deliverables; and build and maintain database search records
• Proactively identify opportunities for efficiencies to encourage more consistent end user adoption
• Participate in user trainings and develop/maintain training materials, research materials, and process guidelines
• Manage system user requests and issue resolution
• Act as the primary liaison with the CRM account management team
• Assess, streamline, and formalize best practice processes and procedures for the team; identify data and process integrity issues and implement solutions
• Serve as the primary point person for CRM and other research and executive search vendors
• Partner and/or participate in select research-only projects and/or deliverables as appropriate
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 – 5 years of experience working with various stakeholders in a complex organization and/or in a highly analytical role
• Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, etc.); experience with business intelligence and analytics tools is extremely desirable (Tableau, Looker, Domo, Business Objects, etc.)
• Highly detail-driven with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to accuracy
• Experience capturing and organizing data in a manner that allows for impactful analysis and insights
• Positive attitude with strong work ethic and sense of urgency
• Naturally curious and collaborative, with a ''roll-up your sleeves'' mentality to partner with the team and get the job done
• Thrives as part of a team and comfortable with a dynamic, ever-changing environment
• Enthusiastic learner with a desire to rapidly develop knowledge and skills across all dimensions of the executive search and research experience, including tools/systems, search lifecycle processes, and analytics
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant experience in executive search, talent acquisition, and/or human resources is a plus
• Proven ability to work independently as needed, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and respond to ad-hoc requests
• Sound judgement to manage confidential material with the highest level of discretion
• Ability to work in WarnerMedia's New York City offices
