The Job
WarnerMedia Studios is full of creative, passionate craftspeople who help WarnerMedia's brands make moments that fans never forget. An essential part of WarnerMedia Studios' success is our culture. This role serves to create and protect the conditions that sustain our great people's best work. A lot goes into that, and no two days are alike.
The Associate Manager, Culture & Engagement has a unique opportunity to push our culture to new heights while driving engagement throughout the organization by operationalizing the vision of WarnerMedia Studios' leadership team and the Director of Culture & Engagement. This won't be achieved without bringing your own critically unique voice - and the voice of the people - to the table. If you're the type of person with a 'get-it-done' personality who thinks about how to communicate everything we do cross-functionally and that wants to make a huge impact on a highly creative culture, read on for more details.
The Daily
• Develop and manage project timelines and detailed task lists on people-related projects, and ensure deliverables are on time and on target
• Plan and execute initiatives and activations that promote employee recognition & well-being - everything from a monthly speaker series to get-to-know-you coffees to ticket giveaways to a full-blown internal creative conference called StudiosX
• Manage process for internal/external tours and facilitate these tours by becoming highly knowledgeable with our facility and capabilities to speak to them with ease. Big crowds don't intimidate you, in fact, you thrive speaking in front them.
• Be the go-to for leaders across WarnerMedia Studios to translate strategic priorities, project plans, and reporting into compelling, concise, highly visual presentations
• Lead the development of monthly executive-level updates (and develop a process for compiling the information, which comes from lots of different sources)
• Own the on-boarding process for all of WarnerMedia Studios new employees - create consistent onboarding documentation, design welcome packets - ensuring our most important resources feel welcome and comfortable navigating the complexities of their new roles.
The Essentials
• Project management skills. (You enjoy being creative, but never at the expense of delivering on time and above expectations. To you, a Gantt chart is a work of art all its own. You're the Galileo of "get it done"; the Picasso of prioritizing.
• Knowledge of process design and continuous improvement / agile methodology and tools a huge plus
• Peerless communication skills, both in writing and in person. You're also experienced and comfortable writing for other people's voices. (You get "you're so good with words" a lot - people ask you all the time to edit things for them.)
• Problem-solving mindset. (You don't bring anyone problems; just solutions. You always think through "What would I do if I were in charge?" and have a course of action in mind before taking the challenge back to the team.)
• 3-5 years' experience in creative / media industry, focused on project management / operations - this isn't your first rodeo (and you know and are unfazed by our industry), but you have lots of room to grow.
• BA/BS degree
The Perks
• Exclusive WarnerMedia events and advance screenings
• Paid time off every year to volunteer for eligible employees
• Access to well-being tools, resources, and freebies
• Access to in-house learning and development resources
• Part of the WarnerMedia family of powerhouse brands
