The Studio Tour gives guests a revealing look behind the camera at how Hollywood magic is made. From Friends and The Big Bang Theory to Harry Potter and the DC Universe, fans have the opportunity to explore the nearly 100-year-old studio as they visit the real sets and soundstages on the iconic 110-acre backlot, celebrating where the greatest entertainment in history was made.
Warner Bros. Studio Operations seeks an Assistant Manager for Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. Position supervises a dynamic team of multi-skilled studio hosts to ensure the very best experience for our guests. The role also ensures that all areas are maintained and kept clean throughout the day. Ensures department standard of product quality and customer service are consistently met. Regularly conducts service meetings to exchange information with crew members including operational goals, challenges and safety issues. Responsible for key-holder duties and opens / closes operation, at times, works autonomously.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Nurture a fun and professional environment where both the Warner Bros. brand values are embedded and promoted via team/customer engagement, communication and encouragement to exceed expectations. Lead (by example) by anticipating issues, effectively resolving problems and actively seeking improvement.
• Assist building manager with the maintenance of attraction locations of the Tour Welcome Center and Stage 48 by submitting work orders to the appropriate departments and vendors in a timely manner. To include following up to ensure said work has been completed.
• Oversee tour operations as a Duty Manager, maintaining adequate shift coverage, tour availability and operational efficiency.
• Back-up payroll specialist when our Admin Assistant Manager is not available.
• Interview, hire, train and assign work, write up when needed (corrective action) and provide employee performance feedback to leadership team.
• Manages and rectifies guest complaints in assigned areas per policy and past practice, maintaining detailed and complete incident records.
• Controls shift schedules and has the ability to adjust work hours, if necessary.
Qualifications and Experience…
• Management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Customer service experience
• PC operating skills in Windows environment (including Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook)
• Internet Savvy
• Strong Telephone etiquette and proficient 10 key adding
• Excellent Organizational skills, ability to prioritize, time management.
• Ability to work successfully in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self-starter, problem solver, and innovative thinker
