Job Title: SVP, CFO WMX
A little bit about our team:
The WMX Finance department manages the financials for WMX, Warner Music Artist Services and EMP and leads intradepartmental teams to significantly improve revenue flow and drive business outcomes.
Your role:
Supports the President of WMX to plan and execute the financial strategy of the division and company as it relates to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and securing new funding for programs.
Here you'll get to:
• Provides financial leadership for tactical and strategic plans to deliver financial results and help evolve the business.
• Budget and forecasting ownership of $375m+ in operating costs; oversees the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the divisional P&L and balance sheet; reports in 5 countries and 4 currencies
• Supports $175m+Artist Services revenue and associated costs across US and Europe and media businesses generating $50m revenue annually.
• Provides analysis and consultation in developing new business opportunities; prepares projections, delivers IRRs and monitors activity to help drive performance.
• Partners with the individual teams within WMX, the labels, business development, and corporate, to build and oversee business processes that will streamline dataflow for maximum efficiency and effectiveness and ensure successful execution of business plans.
• Continually identifies improvements via best practice replication, creative and innovative solutions, and alignment of goals and objectives.
• Manages financial controls and risk management procedures.
• Updates other department heads on the financial performance for the company and key finance initiatives.
• Review all formal finance and IT related procedures, processes, and administration; recommending improvements to the systems in place and managing the systems going forward.
• Train and develop the WMX Finance staff
About you:
• Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to interface with contacts at the highest levels of the organization
• Proven business process improvement skills and excellent customer service skills
• Proficient knowledge of GAAP and related financial reporting requirements and standards
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to build alignment for initiatives and programs
• Bachelor's degree in related field, from an accredited college or university preferred
• 10+ years of senior level financial experience and management experience
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

Effective October 1st, this position will require being in the office 4 days a week. We believe that an in-office presence is critical for talent development, collaboration and building strong relationships.
Salary Range
$250,000 to $315,000 Annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
