We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our innovative and highly sought-after team at NONESUCH.

A little bit about our team:

Founded in 1964, Nonesuch Records has grown over the last five decades to become, in the words of the Boston Globe, "an oasis of artistic excitement," with a broad mission that includes classical music, contemporary music, jazz, traditional American and world music, popular and alternative music, musical theater and dance.

Why this could be your next big break:

We provide a unique experience at Nonesuch because we're a small company of a little over a dozen people. This will allow you to work with all departments, interface regularly with all staff members, and get the big picture of how everyone works together at a record label. You will be allowed to attend the weekly staff meetings, interview department heads, and participate in projects for active artists.

Here you'll get to:
• Track sales, social media stats, and other data weekly
• Attend weekly staff meetings to discuss current and upcoming projects
• Promo mailings to press and indie retail
• Have one-on-one meetings with department heads.
• Assist the art/production team through photoshop and proofreading
• Assist marketing/publicity with sales reports and press clippings

Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• You need to be familiar with the Nonesuch catalogue.
• You should have a basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Photoshop is a plus.
• Top-notch writing skills are a plus.
• You must be good at making use of free time, and willing to setup meetings with people.
• You must be punctual.
• You must be comfortable working in a professional, office environment.

It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Once again: a familiarity with the Nonesuch roster / catalogue.
• Clear goals and ambitions on what you'd like to learn from this internship, what you will bring to the table, and where you hope to see yourself post-graduation.
