We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our innovative and highly sought-after Synchronization team at Warner Chappell Music.

A little bit about our team:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, detail orientated, team-player, and results-driven individual for the full-time position of Sr. Coordinator, Licensing Administration, based in Los Angeles. Under direct supervision with some latitude for independent judgement and decision, this individual will be responsible for the financial reporting of sync data relating to the licensed compositions of Warner/Chappell Music, collection of license fees, as well as heavy interdepartmental reporting. This is a fun and challenging position in a fast-pace environment. We look at this position as someone who understands sync and understands finance with intermediate excel skills, and can straddle the two worlds, without skipping a beat.
Here you'll get to:
• Utilize SAP based business systems available to provide robust reporting on a variety of metrics.
• Analyze data with the ability to summarize, report and draw conclusions.
• Tracking the receipt of license fees, royalties and other payments from clients.
• Monitor and pursue license fee collections.
• Reconcile payment log with monthly reports
• Distribute bi-weekly financial reports to senior management, illustrating cash collection vs accrual generation
• Update and maintain synch licensing database.
• Assist in other areas of licensing department as needed.
• Process and log all incoming payments; reconcile payment log with monthly reports.
• Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information.
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• Must be able to read and understand materials and documents and have the ability to recognize and extract critical data and information.
• High level of professional communication etiquette both internally and/or externally (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively interact with clients and interdepartmentally to finalize licenses and collection of fees and gather pertinent financial information
• Must be able to effectively communicate internally and/or externally in a manner consistent with the company's Code of Conduct and core values.
• Must be able to come to work on time without restriction as to time commitment. Ability to efficiently, accurately and promptly resolve license issues.
• Self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to handle high volume of data with accurate execution.
• Ability to adhere to deadlines and execute on tasks and handle multiple, diverse assignments while producing quality work and being accountable.
• Strong organization skills, high attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
• Must be able to work at and utilize all necessary functions of a computer in order to complete all essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Possess a strong work ethic.
• Strong organization skills and pay high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to adhere to deadlines and execute on tasks and handle multiple, diverse assignments.
• Produce quality work and be accountable; manage time.

• Must have general computer skills and full proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphases in Outlook, Microsoft Word and intermediate Microsoft Excel; knowledge of general business practices.
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• A high school level education, or its equivalent, is required. A baccalaureate or Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, preferably with a major in business, finance or accounting, augmented by coursework in principles of music business, copyright law and/or related fields.
