Senior Financial Analyst
Here you'll get to:
FINANCE-MARKETING support:
• PO/AP Support
• Initial PO review: check if budget is approved, check if coding is correct. Approve any PO updates (to vendors, coding, amounts)
• Request SAP and Ariba access for new users
• Train users on Ariba / SAP. Understand system functions and capabilities to be able to get new users set up and learn the system
• Troubleshoot Ariba, PO, Invoice, vendor creation issues with users.
• Set up WBS Structures when budgets are approved - for specific singles, promo tours, tour support, TV Appearances
• Maintain marketing file – add in marketing pages for new budgets and update overall projects & department pages.
• Distribute marketing budgets to marketing directors as scheduled or as requested.
• Create spend reconciliations for projects/departments as needed.
• Assist with monitoring and tracking spend mid-month to ensure proper budget targets are being met and not exceeded.
• Miscellaneous (marketing, ad-hoc requests)
FINANCE-OVERHEAD:
• Overhead – Budget, forecast, actuals
• Manage budget, forecast and actuals for each overhead category.
• Write journal entries as needed
• Work directly with CFO explaining variances.
• T&E
• Update actuals on a monthly basis & complete variance analysis to track any overages against budget.
• Circulate T&E budgets to departments
FINANCE-COST OF SALES:
• Product Cost / Obsolescence / Manufacturing – Budget, forecast, actuals
• Product cost: Forecast monthly expense and review monthly actuals with shared services. Research any items with unexpected rates.
• Obsolescence: Complete monthly obsolescence review to determine if any manual adjustments should be made. Write journal entry for adjustments. Document all processes for internal and external audit.
• Write journal entries and submit for approval and posting.
FINANCE-ARTIST SERVICES:
• Work closely with Finance Sr. Manager on 360 activities: budget, forecast, actuals
• Attend meetings with departments to check in on business trends and to update them on progress towards meeting goals/expectations.
• Month end reconciliation and research.
• Miscellaneous (artist services, ad-hoc requests)
FINANCE-REVENUE:
• Work closely with the Finance Director on revenue matters
• Assist with pulling and providing data in order to track actuals vs forecast and budget
• Research and analyze revenue trends in various areas: physical, streaming, international, etc.
• Ad-hoc requests and reports as needed.
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• Strong finance background with a minimum of three years of experience (CPA desired but not required).
• Strong analytical skills, very proficient in systems and excel.
• The right person for this position must be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to meet deadlines and pay close attention to detail.
• The position also requires someone who is highly organized with a strong ability to multi-task, a self-starter, but someone who takes direction and works well with change and is a team player.
