Job Title: Senior Director, Short Form Content
Your role: Warner Records is in search of a Senior Director of Short Form Content to spearhead the development of high-performing short-form content that builds the narratives of our artists on socials, drives cultural impact and converts to music consumption. The position sits within our Digital team and will work cross-functionally with all departments to develop short-form content for our artists, the Warner Records social accounts, social partners, and DSPs.
Here you'll get to:
• Work cross-functionally to develop a short-form content strategy for each artist that builds their social narrative and drives music consumption.
• Conceptualize, develop and execute ideas for social content to support major releases.
• Partner with the Creative and PR teams to develop social content plans to be captured at music video shoots and press events.
• Shoot social-first native content, Interviews, viral videos, acoustic performances, etc.
• Edit content delivered by videographers and artists into high-performing social content.
• Work directly with artists, managers, and other creative partners to develop content plans.
• Maintain expert level knowledge of high-performing and trending content formats across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, etc.
• Hire and create a roster of production crews, producers, videographers, and editors for out-of-house content production.
• Develop a roster of social content producers/editors we can pair with each artist to shoot and edit content for their social accounts.
• Maintain production schedules and route content for approvals to internal stakeholders and management.
About you:
• At least 5-7 years of experience in content creation - photo and video.
• Full knowledge of Final Cut Pro Studio and Adobe Production Bundle on the mac operating system including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience shooting high-performing vertical content on an iPhone
• Broad knowledge of film and production process, including operating a professional digital video camera, with knowledge of lighting systems and audio recording
• Knowledge of audio recording for interviews and live/acoustic videos
• Knowledge of livestream software and hardware
• Excellent organizational ability and strong initiative
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance multiple priorities
We'd love it if you also had:
• Minimum of five years experience in video production, videography and video editing
• Strong knowledge of and relationships with video production community
• Must have training and experience in the technical aspects of video production, film and post-production
• Education:
• At least 2 years of college preferred.

Salary Range
$100,000 to $130,000 Annually
Job Posting Ranges are included for all California, Colorado, New York, and Washington job postings and 100% remote roles where talent can be located in CA, CO, NYC and WA. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
