Your role:
The Production Manager will be based in Miami and will support the US Latin label. This position will assist with day-to-day management of various digital service providers, operations processes and maintain cross-functional relationships within the group. The ideal candidate will be able to work and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize various tasks in an ever-changing environment will also be key.
Here you'll get to:
• You will engage with both digital and physical (vinyl, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, Blu-rays) products.
• You will be the person in charge of label copy for your projects. You'll secure the credits from the label, clarify any inconsistencies or oddities, compile the credits into a usable format which you'll route for approval and then distribute to those coordinating physical packaging and everyone else who needs it.
• You will manage the label copy as a live document that's always changing by updating it as needed, filling requests from label Publicity department, Billboard, those working on Grammy® submissions, and others. You'll manage keeping updated copies archived for future reference.
• You will proofread metadata for accuracy before digital products are sent to DSPs. You'll also proofread the copy on layouts of physical packaging and any DVD menu screens.
• You will enter new release information into the company's central database that feeds other databases to ensure accurate setup details are used company-wide. This will sometimes require researching any missing setup criteria, adjusting metadata so it meets the style guide requirements from various DSPs, and troubleshooting issues with validation at DSPs.
• You will sometimes work directly in Apple's interface to make metadata edits directly if vital.
• Run the production schedules, ensuring their accuracy and sending out to large distribution lists; you'll also build and send the Daily Schedule Changes memo, with late-breaking changes not yet published in the schedule.
• You will set up and schedule all WM Latina products and affiliate label products to digital service providers.
• You will be responsible for product management from initial set up through street date and beyond through release maintenance.
• You will work with Partner Account Management team, Global Technology, Supply Chain Operations and external partners to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve supply chain issues.
• Be responsible for managing new album and single releases on a weekly basis for releases assigned to you. This includes verifying that audio, art, metadata, and scheduling, and pricing are in place and compliant with currently industry standards.
• See your projects through by completing digital bill of materials (dBOM) approval for delivery to digital service providers.
• Conduct weekly checks to ensure all products have successfully completed delivery to accounts and reconcile the release details back to the release intention
• Handle takedowns and price changes as requested by the labels.
• Manage the delivery and tracking all digital releases for your assigned projects.
About you:
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized.

• Thorough understanding of current digital music distribution partners and industry best practices.
• Must be able to accept changes readily, both in job responsibilities, as well as in the work environment, and can be flexible in adapting to re-prioritized tasks.
• 5+ years' experience in music industry.
• Data analysis/research skills.
• You're a leader, who takes responsibility for both the team's achievements and challenges and who is willing to find solutions in a constantly changing environment.
• You have knowledge of digital retailer metadata requirements and broad knowledge of the audio production process.
• You have great people skills, able to work with varied personalities at all levels of the company.
• You're extremely flexible, are extremely detail-oriented, like constant change, and are comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities and last-minute requests.
• You're a problem solver with a keen eye for detail and deadline awareness.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• You have excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook and Calendar, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• You possess a genuine interest in music and the music business.
• You have excellent time management and organizational skills.
• You're a team player, who can tolerate ambiguity.
