A little bit about our team:
Our Business & Legal Affairs team provides business and legal support to both the Warner Music Latina label and our affiliates in the Latin America region. We are responsible for reviewing and negotiating agreements for the label, as well as, researching Warner Music Latina's rights in existing catalog and assisting and responding to queries from other internal divisions.

This is an opportunity to observe the day to day operation of a record label's legal department. Getting first-hand experience on how to review and analyze music related contracts and learn about the basic concepts of different types of agreements (e.g., artist agreements, producer agreements, video agreements, and performance agreements) under the supervision of an attorney.
Here you'll get to:
You will:
• review and assist with editing agreements such as video agreements, remix agreements, producer agreements, licenses, synchs, and digital agreements with DSPs/MSPs;
• draft termination letters, C&D letters, cover letters, etc.;
• maintain and update mailing logs, files and deal sheets;
• scan original agreements into digital files;
• review and prepare logs, triggers and deal sheets.
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
You have:
• a college degree and you are currently enrolled in an accredited law school;
• excellent writing skills;
• have attention to detail;
• good organizational skills; and
• basic/intermediate MS Office skills.
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Knowledge of written and spoken Spanish (preferred but not required).
• Past experience with entertainment law, contracts, trademarks and/or IP related matters.
