Job Title: Junior Graphic Designer
A little bit about our team:
The design team within Corporate Communications and Marketing supports WMG corporate in the branding and execution of internal events and initiatives, internal and external communications, and advertising.
Here you'll get to:
The Junior Designer will work closely with the Art Director and Social Media Coordinator to fulfill design needs across platforms. You will work on projects that range from resizing and editing photos to concepting and producing globally-distributed, company-wide branding. You will work within corporate branding to create dynamic social media content, logos, trade advertisements, internal communications, PowerPoint decks, booklets, events collateral, branded templates, and company gifts, branded merch, signage, and more.
It would be music to our ears if you also:
• Have 2 years design experience, preferably in the interactive or product design space.
• Care about the work.
• Can think creatively and take direction.
• Can manage your time with adherence to deadlines.
• Can manage several projects at any given time.
• Have the ability to work well in a team as well as individually.
• Can present work with confidence and clarity.
• Have a sophisticated handle on typography, layout, and color.
• Are comfortable creating motion graphics and animation.
• Are adept at using the Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Are a natural on social media.
• Are interested in music, art, entertainment, media, fashion, food, and culture.
• Completed an undergraduate degree (B.F.A.) in Visual Communications: Graphic Design, or equivalent.
Must be able to present portfolio of recent design work
