We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our innovative and highly sought-after Digital Marketing & Strategy team at ADA.
Title: Intern, Digital Marketing & Strategy
A little bit about our team:
The Digital Marketing team at ADA is dedicated to building artist careers through the intersection of music and technology. We are a small and agile team at the center of all things digital for the Label Services division of ADA. We work with the independent artists and labels that distribute and market through WMG.
Through creative marketing campaigns, we build online and mobile fan communities, with an eye towards evolving the way that fans listen to, participate in, and consume music and related products. We create, market and optimize content, develop and implement CRM/fan acquisition strategies, and work with new, engaging digital platforms and startups.

The Digital Marketing team is the heartbeat of ADA's Label Services division. We work closely with our label partners to drive the execution of our marketing campaigns and provide artists with the tools, education, and creative sparks to engage and grow their fanbases across social networks and streaming services. Label Services is a rapidly growing strategic initiative and will allow you to gain valuable hands-on experience releasing records across all genres, and from superstars to emerging artists.
Here you'll get to:
• You will participate in the essential functions required to release and market music digitally (e.g. video setups, content optimizations)
• You will engage in lively brainstorming sessions and help spark creative marketing campaigns.
• You will serve as the in-house expert on Gen Z culture and media consumption.
• You will develop an understanding and report on streaming and social data.
• You will work closely with the other team members to establish new internal processes and create efficiencies.
• You will interface with other departments across the Label Services division (e.g. Marketing, Radio, Publicity) to help achieve common goals around releases.
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• You have a strong understanding of the current digital music and media landscape, inclusive of streaming services, social networks, and consumer behavior/trends.
• You are obsessed with discovering music and have a finger on the pulse of social trends and influencers.
• You are a self-starter who does not require micromanagement.
• You are an excellent communicator and follow through.
• You will be organized and creative.
• You will use every available resource and ask tons of smart questions.
• You will be curious and engaged with clear goals about what you want to get out of this experience.
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Prior work or internship experience in the music industry a plus.
• Graphic design or video editing skills a plus.
