The mission of the Digital Marketing department is to drive fandom, music consumption, D2C purchases, and social conversation/engagement using innovative digital marketing strategies. The team is responsible for all aspects of an artist's digital presence including digital narrative development, digital advertising, social content ideation, influencer campaigns, digital advertising, CRM, social/digital partner activations, content seeding, websites, etc. We work directly with the artists to translate the vision of their music into groundbreaking digital campaigns and provide in-depth creative consulting geared toward growing a highly engaged fanbase!
Your role:
The Director, Paid Media & Audience Growth will act as an in-house specialist to develop, implement, analyze, and report CRM and paid campaigns for our artists and releases. This person will collaborate closely with external agencies and strategize with internal WMG teams to develop best-in-class campaigns that drive streaming, audience growth, and eCommerce.
Here you'll get to:
• Own the CRM strategy and implementation across the organization to develop targetable fan bases, drive streaming, drive D2C purchases, and build fan dedication/retention.
• Establish CRM goals and KPIs for each artist and a road map to achieve them.
• Collaborate with digital strategists to build out email, website, and SMS campaign strategies to support all new music launches and artist awareness campaigns.
• Develop weekly CRM campaign performance report that includes performance and benchmarks.
• Develop strategies to maximize WMG first-party data sources to use for Warner Records artists, and expand data across non-owned platforms including Discord, Reddit, and touring agencies.
