This person will play a central role in coordinating strategy from leadership and key collaborators. They will prepare materials and ensure information flows clearly up, down, and across the business.
Rather than directly owning business lines, this role is about bringing clarity, alignment, and rigor to how decisions are developed and communicated.
Here you’ll get to:
Strategic Support & Synthesis
Gather inputs, research, and perspectives from across merchandising, e-commerce, physical, and finance teams
Help structure and refine strategic priorities originating from the President, CFO, and broader leadership team
Synthesize complex information into clear narratives, frameworks, and recommendations
Support the development of arguments, strategic memos, and executive-level presentations
Executive Communications & Materials
Lead creation of high-quality presentations, briefing documents, and talking points for internal and external audiences
Ensure consistency and clarity in how strategies, priorities, and performance updates are communicated
Prepare leadership for key meetings by coordinating materials, aligning collaborators, and surfacing key issues
Translate detailed operational and financial information into digestible insights for senior audiences
Operating Rhythm & Coordination
Help organize and run key meetings (e.g., staff meetings, business reviews, planning sessions, offsites)
Build agendas, compile materials, and ensure follow-ups and action items are clearly documented
Coordinate across teams to ensure inputs are collected on time and materials are aligned
Maintain access to key initiatives and priorities to support leadership alignment
Cross-Functional Alignment & Information Flow
Act as a central point for consolidating information across merchandising, e-commerce, physical, and finance teams
Ensure leadership teams are working from consistent data, assumptions, and narratives
Facilitate communication between collaborators, helping to clarify priorities and reduce friction
Support cascading of key messages and decisions throughout the organization
Analytical & Research Support
Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making (market trends, competitive insights, performance data)
Partner with finance and analytics teams to gather and interpret important data
Help frame questions, identify data needs, and package findings into clear outputs for leadership
About you:
8–12+ years of experience in strategy, operations, finance, consulting, or business operations
Experience supporting senior leaders in a strategic support role
Exceptional at structuring ambiguous problems and synthesizing complex information
Strong written and visual communication skills — you can build clear, compelling decks and narratives
Highly organized and diligent; able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
Strong collaborator with the ability to work across functions and levels of seniority
High EQ and sound judgment; comfortable operating behind the scenes to support leadership
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret and translate financial and operational data
Discreet, reliable, and operates with a strong sense of ownership and integrity
We’d love it if you also had:
Experience in music, media, consumer products, or e-commerce
Familiarity with merchandising, DTC, or physical product businesses
Experience working in a matrixed organization with multiple collaborators
Background in finance or working closely with finance teams
