WCPM are expanding their presence and building a team in NY. We are currently looking for a Director of Licensing to join forces with our already established and highly respected teams both nationally and globally. We are in search of a vibrant, charismatic, out of the box thinker with both a passion for music as well as a natural talent for business strategy. You will be located in the midst of the creative hustle and bustle of the Warner Chappell NY offices. Our perfect candidate will thrive in a fast-paced dynamic creative environment. This position will report to the VP, Licensing & Music Services (LA), and will consist of servicing music departments in the Advertising Space. You will need to have experience in the world of licensing for production music, pitching for a music house, or receiving music pitches as, or on behalf of a music supervisor. You are self-motivated and enthusiastic, ready to contribute ideas and comfortable taking a hands-on, low-ego, and impact-oriented approach during a time of growth. Strong relationships within the Advertising sector is a must, coupled with impeccable customer service skills.

Here you'll get to:
• Cater to Advertising and Post-Production Houses.
• Work closely with in-house creative team to fulfill client music requests.
• Pitch and cater to clients requiring custom score.
• Research future productions and trends within the industry.
• Curate new clients, and enthusiastically maintaining existing clients.
• Represent WCPM by attending events and gatherings to meet and build relationships.
• Contribute ideas in all areas of the PM department.
• Refer new artists & composers to production team.
Rockstar candidates will have:
• Minimum 3 years experience working for a music library.
• Working knowledge of custom score.
• Depth of knowledge across music genres.
• Ability to work efficiently and well under pressure.
• Ability to present and lead discussions analyzing industry music needs.
• Capacity to work flexible hours if and when needed.
• Ability to respond to rapidly changing priorities.
• Ability and willingness to travel both nationally as well as internationally.
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• History and talent for identifying strong creative material with experience in the Entertainment Industry.
• Creativity and curiosity.
• Passion for music with a natural talent for business strategy and development.
• A collaborative personality that contributes well in a team setting.
• Prior experience with Salesforce CRM a plus.
• Prior experience with other music services a plus (creative music supervision, song clearance & licensing, cue sheets, etc.).
• Ability to seek out new leads fueled by resourceful self motivation.
• Comfortable working independently and remotely, but actively engaged with the team sharing successes, being communicative, and a willingness to dive into whatever is necessary to get the job done.
• Client-focused with high EQ and ability to think out of the box for intelligent solutions to problems and challenges.
• Rigorous and organized with high standards and integrity.
