Job Title: Director, Communications
A little bit about our team:
Rhino/Warner Global Catalog is the catalog division of Warner Music Group, responsible for product development and marketing for Warner's vast, eclectic roster of iconic artists, labels, albums, and songs. The Director, Communications will be part of the Commuincations team which oversees PR, radio promotions, and Web3.
Your role:
The Director, Commuinications will have the opportunity to be involved in all facets of media relations for the catalog team, leading efforts to maximize press exposure for our artists, releases, and other initiatives. Thriving in our fast-paced environment will require this individual to be an organized self-starter and natural-born multi-tasker.
Here you'll get to:
• Devise and execute national and regional media campaigns focused around our artists' album and single releases, artists on tour, milestones (anniversaries, awards, birthdays, etc.) and other initiatives.
• Work closely with a variety of internal departments including promotion, content teams, digital marketing, commerce, art, business affairs, production, A&R, and internationals.
• Coordinate artist interview schedules and travel itineraries as needed
• Oversee creation and distribution of key press assets including press releases, artist bios, media alerts, quote sheets, press photos, and reports.
• Manage Rhino corporate communications with Warner Music including deal, partnership, new hire and promotion announcements as well as official label press statements and executive interviews.
• Hire and manage outside publicity firms, radio promoters, photographers, videographers, and bio writers, as needed.
