A little bit about our team:
ADA is the world's leading distributor of independent music. We strive to be a valuable partner to our label clients, guiding them to success across the commercial and marketing space, as well as providing a suite of label services from publicity to radio promotion. We work globally to deliver high-impact opportunities, and work to ensure reliable and visible content pipelines around the world. The role will sit within the Commercial Marketing team within Marketing and Services and will work across Internal teams, Labels, and external partners.
Your role:
On the Commercial Marketing team, you will serve as the subject matter expert for your genre while also leading marketing plans for key streaming accounts. You will work dynamically and collaboratively both with your fellow Commercial Marketers on the team, but also in tandem with the services division, label marketing team, WMX, artists and labels. This team will proactively identify potential growth and execute commercial marketing plans with your cross functional team. You will be providing opportunities within our revenue stream while driving success both for the organization but also our label, central, and digital partners.
Here you'll get to:
• Act as a genre expert within ADA for their designated genre(s) while also acting as the Partner Lead and expert for their main and tertiary commercial accounts.
• Maintain high level relationships at designated accounts and trusted relationships with heads of editorial for their designated genre to be main liaison between distributed labels and accounts.
• Act as a partner and genre expert to create commerce marketing plans for key releases using actionable data metrics and works with label management team to drive follow through and results.
• Communicate, proactively seek, and analyze new opportunities and innovations with designated partners and genre editorial leads that will affect commerce growth. Work with BA/BD on new preferred partners with developing accounts.
• Advocate for strategically global marketing campaigns for high-opportunity titles at digital accounts and genre leading entities while simultaneously working with labels and DSPs to create local and semi local strategies and execute impactive streaming marketing campaigns.
• Provide on the ground marketing insight and expertise in designated genre and partner areas in regular business reviews and revenue analysis.
• Work with owned media entities like Topsify, Indie Mixtape, IMGN, etc leads at Warner to develop footprint and lead proactive marketing campaigns for ADA releases in their respective genres.
About you:
• Deep knowledge of a particular genre (Hip Hop/R&B, Rock/Alt, Pop. Dance, Country, etc.)
• Experience working with DSP partners and established relationships with editorial staff.
• Experience working directly with artists and labels and crafting actionable marketing plans.
We'd love it if you also had:
• College Degree preferred
• 5 Years' experience working in streaming/digital marketing, account management, or commercial marketing strategy.
