Job Title: Creative Director, Licensing
A little bit about our team:
We are currently looking for a dynamic Creative Director, Licensing to join forces with our already established teams both nationally and globally. We are in search of a vibrant, charismatic, out-of-the-box thinker with both a passion for music as well as a natural talent for business strategy.
The perfect candidate will thrive in a fast-paced ever changing creative environment. This position will report to the VP, Licensing & Music Creative (LA), and will consist of servicing music departments in the Trailer space across film, streaming and video games.
Your role:
You will need to have experience as well as a tangible successful track record in the world of licensing production music, pitching for a music house, or receiving music pitches as, or on behalf of a music supervisor. Experience at a boutique trailer music house is preferred.
The right person for this position will already have their finger on the pulse of this scintillating sector, bringing a wealth of knowledge of the inner workings and trends of the theatrical marketing world. They will guide the creative direction of our trailer music to best service clients and market trends, and possess a deep pool of relationships within this niche market. Global client reach with a working knowledge of the trailer world outside of the US, is a huge asset to this position.
A high working knowledge of how to obtain and oversee custom music projects, with the ability to shepherd clients' needs through to completion is a must. This includes working with our studio production teams and music vendors on original custom music, trailerizations, covers, and overlays, and navigating commercial music rights and collaboration with Warner Chappell, Warner Music Group, and other rights holders as necessary.
You must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, naturally embodying impeccable customer service skills, and be ready to contribute ideas on a daily basis. You should feel comfortable taking a hands-on, low-ego, and impact-oriented approach during a time of growth.

• Catering to trailer houses, film studios, streamers, and video game clients.
• Working closely with our in-house creative team to fulfill client music requests.
• Pitching and catering to clients requiring custom music.
• Researching future productions and trends within the industry.
• Curating new clients, and enthusiastically maintaining existing clients.
• Representing WCPM by attending events and gatherings to meet and build relationships.
• Guiding creative direction for trailer music and contributing ideas in all areas of the Production Music department.
• Referring new composers & artists to the Production team.
• Attending all relevant Production Music events including travel within and outside the U.S. as necessary.
We'd love it if you also had:
• Strong performer with minimum 5 years experience working for a boutique trailer music company, music library, trailer house, or network/studio.
• Working knowledge of the custom music
