Job Title: Coordinator, Streaming Data & Operations - Hip-Hop/R&B
A little bit about our team:
Atlantic Records is home to many of the world's most influential and innovative artists - new and established. Its reputation, roster and collective influence on pop culture are unparalleled. The Streaming Dept is at the center of the action and is responsible for a majority of today's commerce. They are analysts, promoters and marketers of nearly every release at the label. They work closely with product managers, digital marketers, international, radio, A&R admin and several other depts. In addition, they work externally with our managers, artists and clients (Amazon Music, Apple Music, Pandora, Spotify, TIDAL, YouTube Music, etc.) The Streaming dept maximizes today's opportunities to market and promote our releases across DSPs, while always looking to discover tomorrow's strategies!

The Hip-Hop/R&B Streaming Data + Ops Coordinator uniquely combines analytical, marketing AND people skills. The Coordinator is the main point of responsibility for data analysis of Atlantic Record's Hip-Hop/R&B roster, while also contributing marketing and operations duties that are integral to our greater DSP strategies. It's a critical role that provides information and services to the entire label's Hip-Hop/R&B efforts. The responsibilities of this job and of this Dept. are definitively at the sweet spot of present and future industry revenue, innovation and excitement.
Here you'll get to:
You will provide daily projections and stream counts for all of Atlantic Record's Hip-Hop/R&B roster. You'll couple data skills with marketing strategy in order to analyze and grow each Hip-Hop/R&B project's footprint across the DSPs. You will create and maintain a myriad of departmental reports, check certifications, make pitch tool submissions, etc. And, you will collaborate with product managers, digital marketers, managers and artists to deliver images, social posts, interviews and misc. content to our clients.
About you:
You must possess a mind for data but also a heart and passion for Hip-Hop & R&B and the surrounding culture, community and trends. You must have previous experience with analysis, be extremely detail-oriented, be able to seamlessly multi-task and have outstanding organizational skills. You must be an impeccable communicator (in all directions) and know how to motivate and inspire those around you to most effectively partner during high-pressure and time-sensitive situations. You must bring a consistent, problem-solving mentality as the Streaming world is an always-evolving area within our industry.
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• College Education
• 2-3 years' experience w/ music data + analysis
• Skilled w/ Excel and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of DSPs (Apple Music, Spotify, etc.)
• Plus-level social media knowledge (FB, IG, Twitter)
• Knows how to laugh and have fun, even amidst some pressure!
