A little bit about our team:
The merchandise production team provides production and purchasing for merchandise for US concert tours, eCommerce and outside retailers as well as corporate and label promotions. Merchandise includes a variety of branded apparel and accessories.
Your role:
This is a fast paced, high volume position that requires multi-tasking, resourcefulness & problem solving. Supporting artists, merchandise managers, product development and other internal customers to source, purchase, manage production and deliver merchandise for a vast roster of artists. Day to day purchasing various merchandise, working closely with vendors to manufacture, ship and deliver. Constant monitoring of multiple orders simultaneously.
Here you'll get to:
• Support Merchandise Production team and a variety of internal customers (Product Managers, Creative, Tour managers, eComm, warehouse, accounting, etc)
• Independently oversee merchandise orders for a large roster of artists
• Create purchase orders and work closely with vendors to insure successful delivery
• Track production schedule daily
• Retrieve art files, forward to vendors and facilitate proof approvals
• Plan and manage shipping requirements for every order
• Collect and distribute packing slips and tracking info for all orders
• Communicate shipment schedule to stakeholders
• Handle all product returns
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships among an array of suppliers
• Participate in miscellaneous day to day Production tasks
About you:
• You have 2 years of experience in Apparel mfg, Screen Printing, Purchasing, Project mgt, Tour Merch, D2C, Warehousing, or Logistics
• You have excellent organizational, time management and attention to detail skills
• You are customer focused and results driven
• You are a Team Player (critical)
• You enjoy a fast paced environment, can prioritize, problem solve and be flexible
• You have strong communication skills
• You have Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willing to learn new software and work flow systems
We'd love it if you also had:
• College Degree preferred
• Music merch experience
• Product development system and/or Order management system experience
