High Level Job Description:
This position is responsible for keeping abreast of the ever changing Rhino release schedule and collecting parts and ensuring accurate, on-time delivery of standard digital releases for Rhino. This is a highly detail oriented position in a fast-paced production environment.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
• Responsible for tracking all new album and single release dates and all changes to existing scheduling on a daily basis for Rhino and affiliate labels.
• Collects all assets for all scheduled products: tracking down audio and art, confirming correct scheduling/pricing/publishing clearance and completing digital bill of materials (dBOM) for delivery to digital service providers (DSP’s).
• Possess the ability to keep abreast and manage various DSP/digital account requirements (delivery, pre-order, instant grat, automatic feeds vs. manual set up, etc.).
• Troubleshoot set up issues with various departments: Release Operations scheduling and package management, Business Affairs, Label Sales, Label Marketing, Licensing , DADC Digital Operations, WMG IT and Product Data Management.
• Requires an ability to push back to label personnel when we are in jeopardy of missing a pre-order, new release date or an update.
• Keep up to date on all developments with our digital tool set – WMG and DADC (new rules, new functionality, new workflows, new personnel).
• Handle catalog clean-up and research requests from Rhino and affiliate label personnel (set up, campaign specifics, international releases coming into the U.S., etc.)
• Coordinate takedown requests with label and Sony DADC personnel.
• Coordinate price change requests with label and Sony DADC personnel.
• Attend weekly production meetings.
• On point to cover for colleagues at ADA, WBR and Atlantic as needed (requires an understanding for the differing workflows/cultures at each label).
Special Requirements/Preferences:
• Experience with digital audio, video and graphics preferred
• Familiarity with XML and its use in automated feeds is a big plus
• Excellent time management, follow-up skills, organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and juggling various priorities
• Ability to work independently and be a team player
Education Required:
• 1-2 years of digital production experience
• Proficient with PC and Mac computer applications and interfaces
• College Degree preferred
