Job Title: Assistant, Sales & Streaming Operations and Assistant to the General Manager (dual role)

A little bit about our team:

The Sales & Streaming department at Atlantic Records is responsible for marketing our artist roster to all DSP platforms (Amazon, Apple, Spotify, etc.), as well as all physical (CD, vinyl, etc) releases. They are the bridge from the recording studio to the consumer. The department assistant will be working side by side with everyone in the department. This role is a vital part of the department's responsibilities of maximizing our efforts for visibility campaigns and artists outreach to their fans via DSP platforms and retail partnerships.

Your role:

You will provide executive support to the General Manager (GM) of the company (up to 25%), as well as the bi-coastal Sales & Streaming department as a whole (75%). You will wear many hats and have the opportunity and responsibility to be involved in all aspects of our Sales & Streaming operations with a unique insight into the company. In this dual role, you will also have the opportunity to participate in high-level, cross-company initiatives with the GM. Additionally, you will work closely with the marketing and digital marketing teams to support our efforts in the retail and streaming space. This role gives you an opportunity to engage with key streaming and marketing execs, artists managers, and DSP accounts to see our marketing campaigns through to release date and beyond.

Here you'll get to:
• Provide overall operational support for the Sales & Streaming department, ensuring proper asset delivery, communicating weekly release schedule to partners, and communicating with label staff about playlisting and other relevant information
• Act as a liaison with external partners to coordinate department-wide meetings and securing internal facilities as needed
• Provide general support of the Sales & Streaming department to keep everything running smoothly and efficient
• Provide support to the General Manager with meeting planning, expenses, and other administrative duties; handle ad hoc projects such as presentation creation and company innovation projects
• Work with internal and external marketing teams to collect and distribute assets
• Gain hands on experience with key streaming and sales data to help the department and company overall and ensure the success of our releases
