Why this could be your next big break:

The Unclaimed Property Analyst for Accounts Payable performs a wide variety of tasks managing the check register, including researching open items and reporting unclaimed property. The Unclaimed Property Analyst will partner with third party support, internal partners including the Royalties and Accounting departments, and the Labels to ensure that items are addressed timely using the standard process. The Analyst will also be responsible for reviewing the system to ensure the addressed items are accurately recorded.

Here you'll get to:
• Manage the check register by reviewing and working open items, reconciling against the bank statement, and gathering updated vendor information when applicable.
• Assist with semiannual state unclaimed property filings by keeping the register updated and ensuring escheated checks are voided timely.
• Create and run reports for analysis to drive decision making and prioritization.
• Form relationships with high-level stakeholders across several different departments to ensure reports and items are addressed.
• Provide recommendations for process improvement and efficiency and assist with implementing changes.

Rockstar candidates will have or be able to:
• 1-3 years of experience processing transactions in an Accounts Payable environment.
• 1 or more years' experience with Account and Bank Reconciliations
• Experience in unclaimed property research and processing.
• Work independently and in a team setting.
• Investigate apparent errors or anomalies relating to inactive and dormant transactions.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and work on several priorities at a given time.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills (verbal and written).

It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
• SAP experience
