The Job
The VP, eCommerce will be responsible for leading the North America eCommerce business for Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Global Brands & Experiences. The role will own driving sales growth through increased traffic and conversion.
The Daily
• Leads the North America eCommerce business
• Responsible for owned and operated (O&O) shop sales and customer engagement growth, as well as, developing a scalable and profitable operating model to support all WB property shop strategies
• Responsible for designing innovative digital customer experiences with proper brand representation on owned shops, marketplaces and third party eComm partners in US and Canada
• Responsible for partnering with Sales leads on major omni accounts to drive 3P eComm business
• Creates a global center of excellence for Warner Bros. Consumer Products for all eCommerce business, O&O or 3rd party retailers
• Partners to drive paid digital marketing advertising strategy and execution for WB brands in North America maximizing return on ad spend
• Builds, executes and scales a robust testing roadmap utilizing O&O and 3P Partners
• Develops strategies using first and third party data to deliver the products to our fans how, where and when they want them
• Oversees O&O merchandising and marketing calendars and execution, product assortment and tiering and customer satisfaction for online shopping
• Partners with Product Category leadership to develop unique and differentiated product for our O&O experiences
• Constantly innovates with relentless focus on customer experience and maximizing fan engagement
• Performs other related duties as assigned
The Essentials
• BA/BS degree in business or related field required
• 10-15 years overall experience with 5 years focused on eCommerce or digital marketing
• Demonstrated success in leading a digital marketing or commerce experience
• Proven success in establishing strategic direction that drives the growth of an organization
• Proven success in developing an operating and execution plan against a strategy
• Demonstrated prior experience with developing and executing innovative solutions
• Global experience preferred
• Must have knowledge and experience in e-commerce, social commerce and/or digital merchandising
• Must have led or worked in brand owned and operated digital commerce
• Must have knowledge of category management, retail and franchise marketing
• Must have strong analytical skills and mindset
• Must have developed and managed a product, feature and/or testing roadmap
• Must have effective and proven communication and negotiation skills
• Must have leadership experience motivating and activating a team
• Must be an effective influencer and possess strong cross functional relationship acumen
• Must have effective and proven team leading and management skills
• Remote leadership experience preferred
• Effective communication and diplomacy required
