The Job
WarnerMedia seeks a Sr. Analyst, Solutions & Workday Configuration for the HR Services Operational Excellence department. It's an exciting time at WarnerMedia as we continue to expand our Workday offerings. You will be part of our HR Services organization and will be predominantly involved in the configuration and delivery of Workday related projects. Delivery of solutions may be used internally by HR Services and/or clients such as Compensation & Benefits, Human Resources, Organization Effectiveness, Talent Acquisitions, Finance and Legal. You will be responsible for all aspects of development and maintenance, including project planning, requirements gathering, designing, configuring, testing, developing user documentation, and providing support.
The Daily
• Serve as key Workday configuration and security expert
• Critical team member who will work with key stakeholders to inspire collaboration and trust to deliver an amazing and intuitive experience
• Identify and take on opportunities to deepen service offerings to our Employees, Supervisors and Business Partners
• Demonstrate Workday configuration through the development of a proof of concept (prototype)
• Responsible for successful implementation of new functionality and/or processes within project timelines
• Ensure thorough documentation of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes
• Lead configuration testing efforts and user acceptance testing
• Assist in development of training materials and partner in change management efforts and organizational readiness
• Develop high quality deliverables and presentations (status, updates, read-outs, etc.) catered to the audience and with close attention to detail
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders and customers

• As more features are rolled out to our end users, maintain a continuous improvement mindset to assess and refine operational elements, both from configurations and new releases. Maintain a process and controls focus to help design, implement and/or monitor operational processes, as part of initial configuration/implementation and ongoing continuous improvement:
• Participate in various process improvement projects, provide recommendations and assist in the process and system change implementations
• Partner with cross functional teams (e.g., HRIS) and Technology teams in the development, testing and roll-out of enhancements (e.g., new system functionality, updates/releases)
• Participate in update trainings as needed
• Perform other duties as required at the request of the Director, Operational Excellence and Manager, Solutions
The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent combination of training and work experience required
• Must have 3 years of functional and technical human resources, security, or HRIS experience
• Experience on projects during design, configure/build, implement and stabilization phases
• Experience in the development and implementation of process and systems changes required
• Experience with Workday system implementation and functional knowledge with at least one Human Resource function
• Experience with Workday reporting and calculated fields required
• Experience with writing reports and queries, updating tables, maintaining security required
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel; proficiency with Visio and PowerPoint
• Ability to handle multiple task and multiple clients simultaneously
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity; be a motivated, confident self-starter with strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly through instruction and self-training
• Understand the functional and technical details, but can think strategically
• Ability to effectively capture stakeholders' needs and be able to translate needs into system functionality
• Excellent time management skills to perform in a fast-paced, high pressure, high volume environment
• Ability to reason through issues and resolve problems and work well under time constraints
• Be a process oriented individual – able to document and capture processes in narrative and diagram forms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective and tactful communicator with ability to tailor communication and messaging with varying levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, in a constantly changing environment
• Must be solution oriented with the flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
