Fantastic opportunity to join Warner Media as our new Payroll Analyst.
This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll professional with proven experience of managing mid to large multiple payrolls. The position is based in London and reports into the UK payroll HR Services Manager. The successful post holder will be responsible for accurately and timely execution of UK payrolls by working closely with in house payroll team, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
The Daily
• Main point of contact for day to day payroll operations, employee payroll related issues, benefits and questions concerning the payroll tools and processes as well as issues relating to local authorities
• Management of data and documents as well as supporting and working closely with the Manager, UK Payroll Services and the wider Payroll Team
• Identify opportunities and help to implement continuous improvements for procedures
• Work closely with Legal, Finance and HR to ensure payroll compliance
• Compiling statistics and reports on a regular basis as well as ad hoc requests and Year-end reporting
• Facilitate discussions to drive decision making and move projects toward completion
• Apply organizational knowledge to anticipate issues and mitigate adverse scheduling impacts on other business units and/or project timeline
The Essentials
• A UK payroll professional with proven experience of managing mid to large multiple payrolls
• Solid knowledge of regulations and statutory requirements related to salaries, taxes, benefits and other payroll related matters required
• Systems and processes (Workday, Safeguard and Zellis/Northgate)
• Must be confidential with sensitive data and information and has a good understanding of GDPR regulations
• Experience in dealing with internal/external payroll providers and business partners
• Team player with ability to build relationships
• Excellent analytical skills with the confidence to make decisions and manage escalations
• Organizational & problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize multiple efforts, and develops/leverages common frameworks to resolve issues and/or enhance delivery
