Part Time Unpaid Internship
The Job
Alloy entertainment is currently seeking an intern for Fall 2020. We are looking for students who are eager to learn the processes of film and television development and have passion for storytelling about the lives and experiences of young adults. Interns will need to be diligent, knowledgeable of current events in culture and in the industry, possess time management skills, an understanding of storytelling and a unique perspective. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Read and write coverage for incoming book and script submissions.
• Work closely with assistants to update submission logs and development reports with comments/notes for coverage.
• Research projects on various film and television targets.
• Compile reports on up and coming talent.
• Participate in development pitches and group discussions.
The Essentials
• Applicants must be enrolled in pursuit of a degree at an accredited college or university during the entirety of their internship.
• Applicant must be eligible to work for pay in the United States. Credit-only internships are not allowed.
Our virtual fall program will run for 7 weeks from October to December. Eligible students must be rising juniors or seniors enrolled in a degree granting university or college. A minimum 3.0 GPA. Passionate about Film, TV, Media & Entertainment. Prior internship experience a plus. All internship positions are paid. Please keep in mind the application process is very competitive.
