Warner Bros. Consumer Products Inc. seeks a Sr. Business Analyst, Reporting Solutions & Data Operations for the WBCP Finance department. The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for supporting delivery and evolution of WBCP's global reporting capabilities and data operations in support of the Division's global business growth. This role will act as a central point of contact for reporting, master data setup/maintenance and security, as well as support the Senior Manager, Reporting Solutions & Data Operations and VP, Global Operations & Business Development with activities related to the team's scope of work.
This position requires partnership with WBCP business stakeholders / teams, corporate groups (Corporate Technology, Finance, Enterprise Financial Services (EFS), etc.) as well as cross-department collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
-Supports WBCP's global reporting strategy, including a current and future state roadmap, supporting work plans and change control process.
-Delivers reporting solutions by collecting requirements from business stakeholders, leveraging enterprise reporting resources, designing prototypes, applying usable dashboarding and visualization tools and implementing standard and ad-hoc reporting that enables timely, accurate and meaningful business decisions.
-Partners with WB and external resources to research/benchmark innovation trends in analytics to continuously improve WBCP's reporting capabilities.
-Develops communication, documentation and training to catalyze adoption and promote effective use of reporting solutions.
-Supports WBCP's master data strategy, including a current and future state roadmap, supporting work plans and upgrade approaches.
-Owns and maintains the integrity of the master data model by supporting business-driven rationalization of data elements and governing maintenance processes.
-Administers the security of WBCP's data and supporting business systems, including provisioning access rights and roles.
-Supports reporting and master data work streams as part of WBCP's Technology Upgrade Program, including understanding and generating business requirements and designing, implementing and testing future state solutions across core process areas.
-Provides subject matter expertise to data conversion and archiving approaches driven from technology solution upgrades.
What do we require from you?
-BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field required.
-MBA preferred.
-Minimum 5-7 years' experience in reporting and analytics, finance process operations, business process improvement, technology support, enterprise system implementation / support, master data management required.
-Industry experience in consumer products, licensing, finance preferred.
-Large consulting firm experience preferred.
-Program/project management experience preferred.
-Demonstrable advanced experience with Excel including Macros/VBA, Pivot Tables, Advanced formulas; experience with Power Pivot, Power Query preferred.
-Advanced experience with SQL queries, database structures and enterprise ERP financial applications (SAP / Oracle).
-Experience with modern business intelligence tools including Tableau, Power BI.
-Experience working in an agile / scrum environment.
-Familiarity with data analysis technology such as R, Python, APIs.
-Familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint and other Microsoft collaborative tools.
-Knowledge of consumer products industry, finance operational and systems environments.
-Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
