What part will you play?
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Sr. Analyst, FCRA Audit for the FCRA Participations Audit department. The Senior Analyst, Audit is responsible for executing the fieldwork and analyzing audit claims for the FCRA Audit department. This position will provide auditors and WB business units information for audits related to Participations reporting.
Responsible for executing fieldwork procedures by reviewing and responding to audit requests, interacting with auditors and WB business units, and analyzing audit claims.
Provide timely response and appropriate documentation to claims, settlement items and questions from Senior Manager, Director, Executive Director and SVP, as necessary.
Perform research and detailed analyses for various issues, including whether statement modifications are necessary as a result of audit.
Read and understand abstracts and long form legal agreements, related correspondence, and applicable systems used for reporting.
Maintain system of organization to monitor audits from fieldwork through to settlement; maintain high-quality audit binders and workpapers; escalate issues to in a timely manner.
Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned.
What do we require from you?
BA/BA degree required.
CPA a plus.
Minimum 2 years of work experience in accounting, audit or finance environment required.
Experience working for an Audit firm preferred.
Experience in Participations desired.
Entertainment industry experience a plus.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office applications required.
Proficient in SAP General Ledger.
Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong math and algebra skills.
Strong ability to interact professionally with auditors and all levels of company personnel and management.
Understanding of Participations reporting, including the ability to read and understand extracts of legal agreements.
Proficiency with core Office365 suite (OneNote, SharePoint) and intermediate Excel data research (filters, vlookups, PivotTables, etc.). a plus.
Exposure to SAP and/or PARIS desired.
