Full Time Unpaid Internship
Our internship program is designed to provide an opportunity to gain knowledge of and exposure to a working studio environment. The Company makes a special effort to provide the support and training needed to prepare interns to succeed in real-time projects and assignments.
Summer 2019 Internships start in June 2019 and are generally 10 weeks long. To be eligible to participate in our internship program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Must be enrolled in pursuit of a degree at an accredited college or university during the entire 10 weeks of the internship.
• Must be available to intern full-time in Burbank, CA from Mondays to Fridays starting June 2019 – September 2019.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to provide own relocation housing and transportation.
• Must be able to provide copy of unofficial transcript.

We are seeking interns to support the following categories:
Fashion: The Fashion Intern will gain insight and knowledge of the Consumer Products Industry specifically within the Adult & Kids apparel business. This internship is designed for students interested in pursuing careers related to business, licensing, category management and fashion. Responsibilities include:
• Researches Adult & Kids apparel business to identify growth opportunities and to support the strategic plan.
• Identifies emerging trends within Adult & Kids apparel.
• Analyzes how competitors use influencers for product development or promotion.
• Researches US fashion brands and provides recommendations for our IP.
Home: The Home Intern will gain insight and knowledge of the Consumer Products Industry specifically within the stationary, gift, and housewares business. This internship is designed for students interested in pursuing careers related to business, licensing, and category management. Responsibilities include:
• Liaises with Home licensees and internal stakeholders to coordinate approvals, logistics for social experiences.
• Secures marketing approvals and props from Archives for events occurring in the summer.
• Researches influencers in the Home space and cultivates relationships to secure possible collaboration, cross-marketing, and PR opportunities.
• Assists in developing Home programs with licensees and the retail sales team.
• Identifies emerging trends within Home.
Toys: The Toys Intern will gain insight and knowledge of the Consumer Products Industry specifically within the dolls, action figures, electronics, plush, and sporting goods business. This internship is designed for students interested in pursuing careers related to business, licensing, and category management. Responsibilities include:
• Researches the toys and collectibles business to identify growth opportunities and to support the strategic plan.
• Identifies emerging trends within the toys business.
• Analyzes the competitive landscape involving price points, market scaling, and product features to help inform toy product development and product promotions.
• Researches US toy brands and provides recommendations for our IP.
• Creates and presents pitches/presentations on the changing consumer landscape.
• Assists in compiling licensee evaluations and develops potential partner pitches.
What do we require from you?
• Pursuit of a college degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related major.
• High School diploma required.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic research methods and strategies preferred.
• Highly organized and self-directed; able to keep on an assigned track without supervision.
• Must display resourcefulness, enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity and self-motivation.
• Self-starter with high level of initiative/energy, conscientious with a strong sense of ownership.
• Passion and knowledge of Warner Bros. IP.
